Can I use Body Custards on my face?

We do not recommend that you use our Body Custards on the delicate skin on your face, unless it is from our unscented range.  The concentrations of essential oils is considerably higher in the Body care range and therefore unsuitable for the face.

Why don't you sell in retail outlets?

Naturally Divine aims to provide an excellent truely natural product at an affordable price for the whole family.  By purchasing your products directly through us, we cut out the middle men, therefore keeping our products at reasonable prices.  Also, as our products are natural and rely on natural preservatives (eg natural vitamin E), we don't want them sitting on retail shelves, losing their unique freshness & quality.  By selling direct, we are able to make our products as they are needed, which maintains that freshness and quality ,which Naturally Divine is known for. 

A lot of products claim to be 'natural'....What makes your products different?

'Natural' is the most abused term of the age......big companies use the term regularly, as it sells products!  A lot of people are becoming more environmentally-aware but are being misled by the term 'natural' by the multinationals.  Products do not have to contain anything natural to use the term 'natural', therefore confusing consumers. 

In fact, some companies choose to substitute harsh chemical names with other softer terms, to midlead consumers even further. 

Naturally Divine use only 100% natural and naturally derived ingredients.  It is our intention to raise the awareness of the hidden dangers associated with long term exposure to unnecesary chemicals. 

Why use 'natural' products?

Naturally Divine believes that by using natural products, we are not only promoting physical outer beauty, but also inner health.   By returning to ingredients which nature provides, we are also protecting and nurturing the environment in which we live.  All Naturally Divine products are totally bio-degradeable, making them 100% safe for our valuable water ways.

Why are your products so economical?

Our products are made the old fashioned way, making them highly concentrated.  A little of any Naturally Divine product goes a long way.  Using moisturisers on damp skin, not only helps the product be carried deep into the skin's layers, it also makes the product go further.  A common mistake is more is better, but not with Naturally Divine products.  A small amount, say half a teaspoon, is sufficient for the entire face.   Always start with less.

As our creams are made with the purest natural waxes, oils and butters, they are extremely rich and moisturising.  When you initially apply our moisturisers, there can be a temporary feeling of oiliness.  This feeling disappears as the skin slowly absorbs the richness of these moisturisers.  This slower to absorb formulation means that your skin is receiving all the moisture it requires and also offers protection against environmental damage, such as windy conditions.  If you require a lighter moisturiser, let us know and we will endeavour to customise one for you, to your individual liking!

We also do not inundate consumers with endless marketing or use fancy packaging, of which, the cost  is passed onto you the consumer!  We rely on the integrity and quality of our products and word of mouth.  Again this helps to keep our products at very affordable prices. 

Most companies recommend endless products for a 'skincare regime'....Why don't you?

Again this is another way for the multinationals to drive the mighty dollar further and further for their benefit!  Naturally Divine believes that the continual assault of chemical-polluted products is totally unnecesary and totally disagrees with all of the hype and beauty myths surrounding the sale of mainstream beauty products. 

We believe that a basic beauty regime with natural products, containing good quality natural ingredients which nature has provided, is the main start to gaining the best from your skin.  Of course we also need to provide optimal conditions internally as well.  Drinking enough water, eating a healthy diet and exercise are are also extremely important.  The following suggestions may help;

• Keep your skin clean by cleansing daily
• Tone your skin and help to carry your moisturiser deep into the skin's layers by misting with our floral waters
• Moisturise and protect your skin with our moisture creams, lotions, butters and serums
• Exfoliating twice a week helps to remove dead skin cells & reveal new fresh skin, which absorbs moisture cream more effectively
• Deep cleansing with a face mask once a month helps to draw impurities from the skin.

Why do you use amber packaging for your products?

All Naturally Divine packaging is made from 100% recycled PET plastic.  We choose to use amber, as it helps to prevent light damage to our delicate natural ingredients.  We also choose this packaging, as it is simple, effective and inexpensive, so again we are not passing on unnecessary costs to you the consumer. 

Are your bottles safe from chemical leaching?

Yes they are totally safe.  Naturally Divine uses only PET bottles, as PET is an inert plastic and does not leach harmful materials into its contents. The PET container has been safely used for 20 years and has undergone rigorous testing under FDA guidelines to ensure its safety as a food and beverage container suitable for storage and reuse.
